Orality & Scripture Engagement

Durk has been involved in Scripture engagement for over 30 years and has served with people from every continent except Antarctica. Before that, he was involved in various ministries while working as an airplane pilot. He loves nature, hiking, and photography. He is 65 and hopes to continue serving as long as my health allows by coming alongside people and helping them to be empowered in their journey with God.

In this webinar, Durk Meijer discussed the importance of engaging people with Scripture. He emphasized that giving oral learners a book will not result in them reading it.

Instead, engaging people means using formats they know and love. It means building trusting relationships and using simple stories instead of abstract concepts.
