The Power of Orality among Hindus

During our January 2026 webinar, three presenters shared unique perspectives on church planting movements.

Greeto Racharia took us from the beginning of Hinduism to the modern time, highlighting the oral origins that are still practiced today.

Bala and Caleb, after hearing the story of a Hindu who began following Jesus and the struggles she faced because of it, we heard how personal stories can bridge the gap with these people.

Dr. Greeto Racharia is Academic Dean and faculty at Hindustan Bible Institute and College, Chennai. He holds a PhD in Pastoral Counseling with ten years of teaching experience. As an ordained pastor of the Christ Lutheran Church in India, he is committed to transforming communities through Scripture-centered pastoral care.

Dr. Balalaxmi Sanigari is a theologian, Bible teacher, and women’s empowerment leader. She has completed her Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Theology and serves as a New Testament faculty member at a Bible College, where she is deeply committed to training and mentoring future Christian leaders. With a compassionate heart for the marginalized, she has ministered extensively among widows and women, offering spiritual care, guidance, and practical support. She is also a frequent conference speaker, addressing topics related to biblical discipleship, leadership, and women’s empowerment. Through her Scripture-centered teaching and ministry, Dr. Balalaxmi continues to inspire transformation in individuals, families, and communities.
